[The video flicks on while America’s trying to work out how the thing works, clicking buttons without even trying to read the manual first. He’s pulled the map out of his Backpack which isn't much help. It’s pretty obvious too, considering the clueless expression he’s giving it

Do you normally read maps upside down? I mean, whatever floats your boat and all, but it's probably not going to help you much that way.

You know, I had the same idea when I first got here. Unfortunately, Johto doesn't exactly allow super-[and he has to stop himself from saying powered because Steph would kill him]-talented people such as myself to have any unfair advantages, so after about half a mile, I had to stop and walk like everyone else. So I hope you're in better shape than I was.

Be glad you've only got a day or two ahead of you until you hit town, then. I was a rebel and headed to Blackthorn first. And while trail mix and berries are great and all, they can't even begin to compare to a decent burger and fries.

Oh yeah. There's fast food in every town except New Bark because it sucks. I pretty much lived in the Johto equivalent of McDonald's for a few days when I finally got to Blackthorn.
