LOL @ Dawn and Data. Yeah, he would kind of throw the Sunnydale folks for a loop-- but not because he's mechanical, which would in turn surprise his crewmates. =)

I think you're right--his crewmates would be very thrown by the Sunnydalians' nonchalance regarding Data's origins.

I can see Geordi's face now, examining Ted or the Buffybot. Such sophistication in such an otherwise backwards time! :)
