Glad you liked it and the books not SciFi it's Fantasy. Huge difference between the two even though you can bridge it with some novels.

The first one was touching, though I don't know the fandom; the second, brimming with possibility. (I love that movie).

I had read those books long before I got into Buffy and one day stumbled across them on Amazon and thought "why not?" and bought them to reread. I was pleasantly surprised that a book I like as a preteen was still so damn enjoyable today. *shrugs* Aside from the classics of course. ;)

As for Americus...I was watching that movie on TNT and thought the little girl from 'Chosen' could pass as Natalie Portman's daughter and thus this tiny drabble was born. Glad you liked them!
