American Psycho was the only form of media that has actually disgusted me. What he did to that homeless guy made me actually kinda skip past that section, though nothing else in the book bugged me.

Here's something fun to do -- watch the movie, and then imagine that Patrick Bateman is actually the fake name Bruce Wayne uses on his nights out. 8D

Haha it's supposed to be disgusting! And then it's canceled out by the fact that they were all just homicidal fantasies.

I've totally been doing that already. I was at a book/art shop/gallery last week and got excited when i thought I saw a Patrick Bateman action figure, only to find it was actually Batman. Then I realized they would be interchangeable anyway.

yesss that scene was beautiful. I wish they did more of his periods of complete deliriousness though.

Also while reading the book I couldn't stop imagining him as Jim Carrey sob. He would completely lose the cool factor but he does crazy so well.
