May Day

May Day came and went. It was uneventful.

Tennis practices are going well. Coach wants to try me in doubles again. I really want singles, but I guess this just makes me better than Atobe because I can do both.

I'm also going to be going for my next belt exam soon. I can't wait. I'll be a third don before I know it.

I know that. I'm trying to argue my case with Kantoku. Sakaki-sensei seems to think losing Ootori made our doubles suffer. I don't think so.

If I were an alien who has been planning to contact humans on Earth, I would avoid both April and May 1st. Too much opportunity for mistakes.

Doubles is a fine way to sharpen your singles skills.
