Can't say I've ever heard you use cob, I have heard it used before as bread but I also know it as throw as in "I cobbed it at him" XD

I'm fully familiar with the first two, even if I don't use them that often down here in Southernland. Good ol' Nottinghamian. We've supposedly got the hardest dialect to copy in the UK, because our dialect isn't tonal, but rather lies in the way we say things. We tend to ignore vowels...for example, 'Nottingham' becomes 'N'tt'n'm'

It is very true. My room mate told me I say 'cup' in a funny way. It wasn't until I was home I realised I made the 'u' sound quite short and really emphasised it, like how you would say 'up'. The Not'n'm accent - you gotta love it :)
