Just got home from work to find that my laptop came in!

:OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So, in case I keep Vista on it, how would I go about making older programs and such function correctly on it?

-_-

Even if I wanted to do that right away, I don't have access to any XP discs and such at the moment (I will once I actually start school this week, but that still requires me to contact an administrator there to get the software).

*shrug* I haven't installed much on it yet, but I just heard from people about "compatibility" problems >_> So far, the few things that I have installed on it seem to be working fine so far.

What are you trying to get to work on Vista atm? I got *most* of my stuff to be "XP-like" but not everything. I also haven't installed TOO much beyond the 'basic necessities.'
