So, wow, extreme delay on writing this chapter. Stupid “real life”...
Also, I've never really mentioned a rating, but (by video game standards) let's call this M for Mature; the amount of violence and swearing I want to use just required it. I mean, come on-this is Jason we’re talking about.
Blah, blah, I don’t own any characters mentioned in

I love the interaction between Terry and Jason. I've only seen the first three episodes of Batman Beyond, but I'm still able to follow along. And Jason still rocks.
Terry really has no idea how lucky he is, first that Jason saved his life, and then secondly that Jason didn't hurt him even worse. I can only imagine what Terry's going to do when he learns who Jason truly is.
For some reason, Jason calling Terry "a superhero dressed up in a rodent suit" made me giggle. I dunno, just calling bats rodents, something he really should know better than to do, was amusing to me, I guess.
Stan lucked out as well. Not that I'm feeling too sympathetic for the guy, but Jason really could have done much worse. A problem with people hurting kids, indeed, Jason...

No kidding-- after what Jason did to Tim, being "in the family" doesn't mean Jason won't kick the crap out of you. I'm glad it worked!
Yea, the rodent comment was supposed to be Jay being cynical about the whole thing; I love how some of his lines in the comics have come dangerously close to villain lines even from the 60s; he knows how ridiculous they are, but he's just having fun and twisting the knife just THAT much more.
I highly recommend watching more Beyond, just because Terry is a great character, btw. ^__~
Glad you like the story-- I'll update mine if you update yours, lol.

I'd love to watch Beyond, but it's not on TV in Germany now (plus, erm, the fact that I don't have a TV) and I've been lazy about going to DailyMotion and downloading all the videos straight from the net. Plus the quality (usually) sucks. Torrents or eMule would be much better, but the Torrents take forever as does eMule for me, so I'm left with the DailyMotion-rip-from-the-net alernative. Which, as I'm said, I'm too lazy to do at the moment.
It's on my list, though. Definitely.
Jay's such a great character because he recognizes the lameness of some of his lines and uses them anyways. It's, as you said, twisting the knife even more. Which is pure Jason. He's like the antithesis of a hero, yet he's also totally not a villain- ( ... )

The very reason I wrote it! Red Hood, for some reason, is someone very easy to "fetish" over.
I'm glad you're liking-- oh, and if you're a big Red Hood and Toon!Tim fan then I have a MAJOR rec for you: http://www.evenrobins.net/archive/viewstory.php?sid=190&ageconsent=ok
(I'm going to be writing a post with all my best recs, but this deserves double-posts, lol). It's majorly fucked up and pretty much everyone is crazy in their own way (and there is just SO much hurt), but the relationship of this Tim and Jason is just so twisted and beautiful.
Okay, okay-- back to my own fic. Yes, indeed, there is more coming soon.
Many grins, Tsuki

I have made SO MANY Red Hood icons because of that particular fetish and mimicry. *g*

Ah, you're steps ahead of me, lol. *rushes to catch up* ^__~
I like comic Tim way more too-- especially his background and detective attitude (I think I'm going to bring that into DCD in a few chapters-- actually, maybe the next one).
Awe, yeah, I love Mimicry's fics. "There are Shadows" and "Calculating Worth" totally made me die (in a good way) when I read them. So, yeah, Jason-bugs all around. ^__^
