Warnings: complete disreguard for comic vs. toon canon, swearing, use of the present tense, and... clowns.

oh this just keeps getting better and better!! I love how Babs came across. part batgirl part commissioner/oracle even. i love how she considers terry family even tho she doesn't trust him yet...no wait, that's not it even, it just that ALL the bats are so damn closed off due to their past...(btw, does anyone know what happened to Nightwing? is he dead or somewhere else? in canon i mean) I love how Terry is learning that bitterness that all bats sooner or later pick up (ironically for almost all the same reasons) and I LOVE how Bruce thinks of Jason as son still and JASON CALLED HIM POPS!!! HAHAHAHAH I NEARLY DIED! so funny!! I'm so exited by this fic! and i am *so* pimping it! obviously not enough people have seen it and really you should cross post it just *everywhere*!! it rocks! it really does.

*GRINS* I'm so glad my characters are (in some form or another) in character. It's hard to reconcile Toon/Comicverse-- I can't even begin to list the issues, especially with Barbara.

As for Dick, we know he's not dead because characters keep making comments like: "You should look up Dick sometime. Has he got stories!" and there are references to him being bitter (still? again?) but he never makes a direct appearance-- which I find SO weird, since everyone else does.

Ah, yes, the bitterness. The batfamily just can't be happy, can they? Even now, the patterns continue-- you see it over and over again in Beyond (and WAY more so in Epilogue, but I'm not even GOING there). But, yes, at the end of the day, they're still a family... a scarred, dysfunctional, twisted, crimefighting family.

As for crossposting-- to be perfectly honest I don't know where else TO post it. I pretty much stick to Batfic and individual author sites. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
