Went downtown for Olympics and fabric Thursday, and then the Jonathon Coulton concert, which was AMAZING AMAZING, and then didn't get much done Friday. XD ( Read more... )

I'm partially to blame for the grouse grind thing, though. I never intended on going up anyway. My plans for staying on the bottom provoked others to stay behind too. -shrugs-

XD Yeah, but yours wasn't so much a "let's ditch the boys!" as you were just waiting on the bottom for us, so I felt a bit bad at that...

But nowhere near as bad as I felt the moment I said I'd think about ditching... orz. I felt like such a conformist, then.

Haha, omg, curling. XD Yeah, I didn't know the sport existed until I got up here. XD That just reminds of a conversation I had with a friend a few days ago when they said that they heard some American tourists claim that Canadians are so arrogant. I wondered what in the world they were talking about when most Canadians are way too polite and apologize for just about everything... then they said it was about curling and other people were all "heck yeah! We're the best curlers!" XDDDDD

Hockey, though, I think is the most intense at the moment. XD Going to the movies lately is all commercials about how we should cheer on our hockey team. XD And how Canada's all about the hockey. XD; I'll try and take pictures and stuff tomorrow. XD

...and yeah, I don't like the idea of ditching people, if only because I know I don't appreciate being ditched myself unless it really, really is all in good humour and fun.

I think it's good that you're willing to put up with something you dislike just to spend time with friends :) Especially if it's just once in a while; if it's all the time, you start getting upset because then it's like, "Why are they constantly doing stuff I don't like??" but I'm sure they will appreciate the effort that you put in. At least I hope so. They better... >:O Particularly because they tried to ditch you, wtf.
