Steve would never forgive himself if he let someone take advantage of them, because they are Obviously Very Drunk. He's not really sure who is taking advantage of who, but Not On His Watch.

Which could potentially cause issues the next time they get drunk (which will not be for a while), at which point they're already together and it is much less dubious.
