I think that was my thought as well with MMPR, but nostalgia factor makes me love it still. If you can, try watching it with someone who hasn't seen it. It's great. I do think that fandom has gone a long and wonderful way in giving the characters more personality and generally making them better characters. MMPR reminds me why I love fandom. <3

I love Zack. There's a reason why I made him Justin's Adoptive Ranger Brother. Zack is just love. :D

I actually realized while I was watching that there was a *lot* I hadn't seen before that I thought I had - like, most of the season. x.x I guess I came into the show later than I realized. And I do still love it, but I spent a lot of time going 'Wait, what?' and being amused or exasperated with the cheesiness of it all. I'm still watching though, because well, MMPR.

Zack! And the idea of Zack as Justin's Adoptive Ranger Brother is ADORABLE and I must read it immediately. ♥ (Go write it!)

I'm currently around the internets Tuesday through Saturdays, from roughly 2:00pm-4:45pm. (I'm stealing the business center at my friend's apartment complex, otherwise I'd be on longer.) On Wednesdays and Fridays I get down here somewhere between 11:00am-12:00pm, but I leave at the same time. I would thrilled to talk to you too! I hope we run into each other! ♥

All I could think when I rewatched it was "Jeez, Zordon is pretty patient". One of my friends was like "Yeah, but if Zordon gave them every bit of information before they needed it, they'd probably have fewer problems." My answer was to remind him that they were teens and he was probably trying to teach them investigative skills and problem solving.

Already did write it a few years back, amiga. I can dig up some links. There's the original fic I wrote for it, then the sequel. Then I had written Mack and Kendrix as resurrection surrogate siblings and the universes collided dragging Camille, Jarrod, and Kim into it. (Because in my mind, as adults, whenever Zack needs to split his people skills attention, he brings in Kim) That said, I've been meaning to write a Zack and Justin fic from that universe where Zack drags him to Disneyland because THAT'S WHAT BROTHERS DO.

Just let me know where you want to chat and I'll set an alarm. (I work night shifts) I'm also in the Pacific time zone just so you know. :)

Watching Zordon now, I find myself thinking that maybe there's a reason Gosei is the way he is. Not that it makes him excusable, but. Although that's a good point about trying to teach them to be independent.

... Oh, right. Time Zones. Those exist, don't they? x.x I'm currently on Central Time, but my complaint is no longer an issue! (My friend finally remembered what her internet password was.) But I would still love to talk to you any time you're around!
