Editing software wise, Movie Studio HD is pretty cheap (about 40 bucks). It's basically a stripped down version of Sony Vegas. It's what I use right now and it's pretty good.

If you're serious about planning it out for me, as in detailed clip selections and episode titles, along with IMing for detail clarification, I have a fair amount of free time atm. ;)

I use the Ulead Pro system, which my brother got for me (generally meaning it fell off a truck and I shouldn't ask questions lol). I like it cause it's much less complicated than Sony Vegas, and it turns out might higher quality stuff than movie maker and other cheapy stuff. There was a time I could have sent you to Power Rangers Unlimited for eps, but they had a major hacking problem and all their eps went down. I know netflix has them, but as of yet I have not come up with a fullproof downloading from netflix scheme.
