Great chapter - I loved the confrontation/truce between Eric and Vanessa. They're really very similar. Also the conversation between Eric and Sky, who took all this very well. Sometimes kids have more sense than adults.

I had to laugh at Eric's thoughts about the 'moron at SPD' who gave Sky his father's damaged helmet, both because it's true, that's an insane thing to give a young child, and because in one of my stories the moron was Eric himself.
