I have one real nickname that's stuck from work and I'm sharing because its an odd one.
Its Top Gun.
Why? Because I used to have really really long hair which I pull back into a strict bun since I work in a kitchen. While discussing nicknames to give my two coworker said it was military like and it looked like I could live that lifestyle. First it was gonna be "Danger Zone" then they decided it was Top Gun.
At least it wasn't sideburns (for a girl) and stretch pants (another girl) LOL
Heh, this reminds me of the last time I ended up with a nickname (that wasn't on the internet).
My second year in college color guard (marching band), we got a new instructor. The first day of pre-band camp, we all stood and introduced ourselves to the group, since we had a lot of new members and the instructor didn't know any of us. So when my turn came, I introduced myself, and our instructor couldn't pronounce it for the life of her and just said she'd call me 'Shy'. (She was saying something like 'Shy-yon' so she just shortened it.)
Well the name stuck, and all the new members that hadn't known me the previous year started calling me that. It was alright, and it was a fitting nickname, but I totally hated it. :P
The next year my best friend, sajabi88, joined and was a bit more bold than I ever was. She put a stop to it, and within a week, everyone knew how to say my name. :P
