i don't know if this is going to make sense to anybody but me (and maybe farwing and saunteringdown because they both let me babble at them). it's part of the post-apocalypse 'verse i might've mentioned once or twice. if you read the ghost of jack kerouac this is set probably a month and a half (possibly two months) later. i have no plot and thus the passage of time ( Read more... )

that's really sad, but beautiful, yanno? I loved it. All those names. It made me SAD though.

I want to read it. It feels assured. You can babble at me about this over dinner all you like ;)

oh, dude, i am totally pulling this out of my ass. i have no idea what i'm doing.

it sounds kind of wrong to say i'm glad it made you sad, but i kind of am. i mean, it's a post-apocalypse. it's supposed to be sad. and i'm really pleased you thought it was assured, because yeah, writing blind.

(and you're actually reading someone's fic? are you feeling ok? *ahem*)

And now I can read this one!

Oh wow, this is SAD, but in the good way. (There's a good way. I know. I think you do, too.) I agree with eudaimon, it feels very assured, like you know exactly what you're doing. So I think you should pretend you DO know, because we'll totally fall for it. ;-)

Awesome.

when you put the details up against the scale of it, this feels really bleak and - well - post-apocalyptic.
