home. tired. been trying to get online for half an hour. >.< currently attempting to download spn from thursday.

i did indeed! we really went to see gale, but blythe was a nice bonus. she was really good, even if her quote-unquote "southern" accent wasn't.

You are so darned lucky! Gale and Blythe. Was it a good play? I've loved Blythe ever since I saw her in Future World about a thousand years ago. Or is that Futureworld? And her daughter is pretty damned fantastic too!

the play itself is kind of eh. it's pretty hysterical by the end, in the "wow, she's melodramatically crazy" kind of way. none of the characters are particularly likable except the guy gale plays - he's a doctor - and he's more a plot device than an actual character. he exists to get everyone else to talk and act. blythe played a batty, cranky, old rich southern woman, and except for the fact that she couldn't get her accent on straight, she did a really good job. she makes a very convincing cranky old southern lady. we waited around long enough after the show for her to come outside and sign our programs, and she was very nice.
