Forget the sideburns and the pants, look at the COUCH! LOL. Except for the hair color, that might as well be a photo of me and my dad from the same time period. There are photos of me wearing violently flowered primary colored pants, and I think our dads had the same young married couple haircuts.

i think i blocked the couch from my vision. it's a little terrifying.

my parents met when my dad was still in the army - he'd come back from vietnam and was stationed at fort devens - and i think the military hair kinda stuck with him for a bit. he grew it out, thank god. the really short hair looks really weird to me.

I keep forgetting we're about the same age! Your family photos look a lot like my family photos.

One of these days I'll get off my ass and upload all these cool photos my mom gave me of my grandparents and great-grandparents--from the 1890s to the 1940s or so.

And yay tuna! I had tuna for dinner too. I took a steak I had made the other day with ginger, garlic, sesame oil, black sesame seeds and a little teriyaki sauce, and shredded it up and made tuna salad, then tuna melts out of it. What did you have? Friday, it'll be tuna sushi in Nola!

i inherited his hair, too. >.< except i have a lot more of it. (even tho i do shed....) i'm frightened by the couch! i'm sure my mom thought it was really nice.

i don't even remember the couch, which means it must be REALLY old, and either my parents got rid of it or my mom had it slipcovered. it's a scary couch. O.O

i'm guessing "cute" is me and/or my sister, and not the upholstery.... :D
