i wanted to post something like that, earlier--mostly about expectations of people. still might, but i sorta have to go to work. =p

speaking of surprises, i wanted to ask about a&a, because i sorta missed the whole hype-fuss thing, and never even heard the song--i only get a total of 8 minutes or so of radio time, going to work, and if i don't hear it then--forget it. so thank you. =)

i realized when i came home from belfast that a lot of times when i go somewhere i expect the worst to happen - bad weather, scaffolding all over things i want to see, lost luggage, missed trains, screaming arguments with friends and traveling companions, that kind of thing. and it seems kind of cynical to honestly believe the only thing you can always count on people to do is upset you, regardless of what you expect from them, but that's what i honestly believe.

i really like that song, and i figure i talk about it enough, i may as well share it.

*grin* i broke down and picked up the album. it's...not bad. it's blink-182, except not even pretending to be punk anymore. which is actually almost, well, better, really because they used to hurt stone's brain, and now i don't have to listen to him bitch. =p
