interlock - your dad is on tv! O.O there's a show about ancient doctors on the history channel, so of course they're talking about galen, and just as i'm thinking "oh, a's dad would be really interested in this," there he was on screen! i might've squeed. :D

my roommate was asleep so i couldn't squee to her. it was a really interesting show, too.

I emailed OO with your post and his eminently business-like response was - this:"Is this a US channel ? Can I have details for our annual report ?"

So could you specify for the uninformed- we are toatlly ignorant of cable/satellite channels on either side of the atlantic! And was the name of the programme too- he's been in several.

it's the history channel, and the series is called decoding the past, and the particular episode is "ancient discoveries: galen, doctor to the gladiators." (it was on from 9-10 last night.) i wondered if you or interlock had ever mentioned him doing something like that and i'd just forgotten. it was a really interesting episode, too.

oops, it was on from 10-11. (i love the history channel. altho it seems every time i turn it on they're doing something about ww2, and i really like the programs about ancient rome. they did one about the crusades a couple weeks ago that was also really interesting.)
