The timeline is completely messing with my head... how many marks were on the wall? How often does he have to enter those numbers? Aigh!

Also, I read on another forum that the logo? Appears on the tail of the shark, too. They said there were screencaps but didn't post a link, boo :(

they didn't show the marks on the wall long enough for you to be able to tell how many there were, but even if he'd only been there a couple years, that's still a lot of marks. i figure he's got everything set on a 24-hour clock. he asked john if the world was still there - maybe he's some crack-headed survivalist kinda guy? still, ARGH.
