that squealing sound you hear? thousands of east coast hp fans finally getting to read book 6. :D that and thousands of east coast sg:a fans watching the season premier for the second time. i have much love for mckay and zelenka's geeky scientist mind-meld thing. i so do.

The Arthur bit is kinda cheesey. But! The episode as a whole? Was like the finest crack. Total insanity. All it needed was a couple of song'n'dance numbers ( ... )

supergeek friday! yeah, something like that.... heh.

one of the things i love about vala is that she's so UNLIKE aeryn. and she's totally unapologetic about who or how she is, and daniel's kind of o.O or occasionally O.O towards her, and she just runs with it. it's FUN. the whole episode was a lot of fun, actually. it's the good crack. :>

i want a team geek icon, with rodney and zelenka. (what's his first name?) except i think i'm out of icon slots.... oops.

tonight scifi is showing the forsaken which only makes me giggle because i rented it for halloween one year partly because it was supposedly kind of slashy and cheesy in a good way. i didn't hate it, i'll say that. and the boys are cute. :D

i never even read ootp, so i don't mind hbp spoilers because i won't understand them. but i completely get all the "THIS IS A NO SPOILER ZONE DAMMIT!" posts i've seen in the past couple hours. buhfly even has a banner - "ron hates spoilers as much as he hates spiders." (she got it from leggyslove, apparently.) heh. i could believe either ( ... )

This book is apparently All About Snape, though from Harry's POV (and at his best, Harry's an unreliable narrator, bless his poor little orphan heart). And I love Snape, even though I hate some of the stuff he does/says/etc. Harry/Draco and Harry/Snape are tied for 1st place as my pairing of choice (though Harry/Neville and Draco/Ron can also be darn wonderful ( ... )

Vala is cracking me up.

"I haven't been this disappointed since I had sex with Daniel."
And Teal'c looks at Daniel like, "Dude, you did NOT go there." and Daniel's face says "...maybe?". XD Priceless. I love Teal'c because he says so much without actually saying anything.

he has expressive non-eyebrows. :D i love vala, she's great. i don't feel at all sorry for daniel, tho.
