the banorah has arrived! along with the slightly more traditional and slightly less goofy menorah i got because the banorah was only $20 and i was apparently in the mood to spend money on jewish ritual objects. i even remembered to get candles so i am Prepared.

I'd never heard of a banorah or a yankee swap before - is the yankee swap like a secret santa type thing?
That person who is so terrible literally nobody will work with - do they not have any kind of performance review/management structure in place to tackle his behaviour? Because clearly he is the problem here, and needs his bad behaviours pointing out and he needs to tackle them... On the other hand, any workplace with a petting zoo can't be all bad.
I saw that 'drinkable' mayo on Have I Got News for You and there is no way it's drinkable - just NO.

a yankee swap is where everyone who brought a present picks a number (you write them down on little pieces of paper and put them in a bowl or something), and then you go in order and everyone picks something. you can swap - either you swap your number for something that someone else has already picked and opened, and they pick a new present, or you pick something, open it, and then decide whether or not you want to keep it. depending on the group and the kinds of things they bring, stuff can go around the room several times before someone finally gets to keep it. sometimes it gets kinda cutthroat.
a banorah is just a menorah shaped like a banana. :D
the problem with the problem pi is that he brings in money (altho possibly not as much as he used to) and that's more important to the u than whether or not he's toxic to work for. it's a problem! and yes, the petting zoo was a nice touch. i mean, who doesn't love bunnies? right?
SO MUCH NO. seriously, japan, why?
