I wasn't expecting to get so emotional at the beginning but the mourning for Chadwick aka T'Challa really got me. I admit, I cried. But the rest of the movie was not as well put together as the first one - I think it was overlong, Judicious editing would have given it more impact - the ending felt a bit like LOTR Return of the King when you kept thinking, this is it, and then they carried on and did another bit, and another bit. I did love the female focus and that Namur was deceptively sympathetic, then held onto his rage at the end so he can come back as a formidable foe in future stories. I'm not sure about Shuri's strength as a character, but I liked that they did develop her in this one, so if the

the longer it takes me to post the harder it is to post, mostly because there's just more to post about. oy, self. and thank you!
i thought wakanda forever did a really good job with chadwick boseman's death - they kind of leaned into it and let t'challa's absence drive a lot of the emotional stuff - but yeah, it was a little too long and there was a little too much and even tho they made shuri into more of a real person - she got some good character development - she didn't have quite enough oomph to lead a movie. it was good, tho! very emotionally affecting. also namor filled the very important antagonist role of being hot and looking good in tight shorts. :D
oh man, goncharov was so much fun. i'm constantly annoyed it doesn't really exist because now i want to see it.
