my roommate and i are watching the sandman and i'm really liking it so far. we just watched ep 4, a hope in hell, and i gotta say, gwendoline christie is a particularly good lucifer, and i love that she's obviously significantly taller than tom sturridge.

some of them must have been for the staff. cornelius ii and alice had five kids altho i don't think any of them got a bathroom all to themselves. the audio tour for marble house - which has a whopping one guest room - said that people who came to the parties and dinners and various summer events would've all been staying somewhere else in newport, either in their own summer homes or in hotels or because they'd rented someone else's house. so they might not have had a lot of overnight guests and the twenty bathrooms was kind of showing off.
