That is because they are confused themselves and little to no data to know if, when and how long someone is contagious.

you'd think after two years and millions of people infected they'd have an idea how long a person might be contagious. i guess not. i've been going about my life like i used to, fully masked but not quarantining, because everyone seems to think i don't need to worry about infecting someone else.

A good bet is after 14 days you are ok. The pcr will be positive up to 3 months.
