It's so bizarre to think of poetry being an Olympic event, isn't it! Like a twilight world... I LOVE Tom Dailey. I hadn't realised he has a whole separate instagram dedicated to his love of knitting and crochet! He shares patterns and chats about stitching. I mean I loved hi already for being so damn cute with his hubby and his kid, but that put the icing on the cake.

The two Italians were indeed, and also, cute.

i guess poetry used to be considered a sport? how weird, tho. and i read that about tom daley and thought of you. :D i love that he seems to start out his video with "so if you didn't know, i just won a gold in diving...." like there are a bunch of people who follow him on instagram for the kitting and crocheting, and don't know anything else about him. SO CUTE.

Did you see the Rave Horse in Dressage? Pretty fun.

I think I'm just going to have to watch Leverage on my own - I got my husband to watch the first episode, and thought he'd like it, because we both used to love it back in the day. But he couldn't get into it. He lives in another town that's almost 3 hours away, so comes home maybe every 2-3 weeks. Which means that if we start a series together, I have to wait weeks to see the next episode.

i haven't seen any dressage! i'll have to try and find it now. i'm picturing a horse with a bright pink mane and a bunch of those glow in the dark plastic necklaces.

sounds like you might have to watch leverage by yourself, yeah. but this way you don't have to worry about watching with someone who's just not that into it....

Too bad the horse can’t be dressed with pink hair and glow sticks. That would be great. But, it looks normal. It’s the music and rhythm of the horse that stand out (it’s the actual music the routine was set to that’s surprised and impressed everyone)
