i watched the first two episodes of loki and i like it! i don't even mind owen wilson, and usually he's too... owen wilson for me. i keep thinking i should recognize more references than i do, but i felt like that for a lot of wandavision and it didn't stop me from enjoying the show. tom hiddleston looks like he's having fun, and who can blame

thank you! the rug used to live in my parents' front hall but i took it when they moved. it's a good size for a small apartment.

there's a page of stamps and signatures from the jewish community of bialystock, and i just looked at all those signatures and thought "in twenty years you're all gonna be dead or at the very least REALLY traumatized". and all the elementary school boys? in 1939 they'll be old enough to join the army. the article at that link mentions that it's an excellent historical document tho - so many records were destroyed and so many people were killed, a person's signature in this thing might be the only record that they ever existed. it really is an amazing document, tho. i can't imagine the work that went into making it.

I'm totally with you on Loki and being surprised how much I like Owen Wilson's character. Fortunately I hadn't recognised him to start with so my inner anti-Owen-Wilson prejudices didn't get a chance to take root before I already decided I kind of love him.

i hope folks in poland can also access the birthday card, because it's such a labor-intensive expression of affection between countries. and so much of it looks so nice. digitizing it was the best idea.

omg edits. i feel like i need to make one more pass just to check for stuff like punctuation and consistency but i've been through it so many times i don't think i'd recognize the mistakes if i saw them. >.<

i didn't immediately recognize owen wilson either! it must be the mustache and the hair. i thought he looked familiar in the trailer so i looked up the show on imdb, and there he was. i like him too. he's absolutely using loki but he's so endearing about it.
