BEAUTIFUL!!! Sweet but still sober in the reality of their lives. I’m so glad you wrote this scene of peace, of love, of care taking! It needed to be written. I love how utterly committed they are in the film and you cement that even more with this vignette, this peek! They will always have Malta-lol! Nice work, C!

i figured they were due some comfort, after all the hurt. i mean, they had a hard week! and joe just looked so wrecked after nicky got shot in the face - and so relieved when he woke up - i thought something sweet and gentle was called for. i'm glad you liked it! i'm still a little weirded out every time i feel the urge to write fanfic, so it's good to know when people connect with it.

oh, that time in malta. :D
