it is dangerous. :| alesa is vaguely aware of that but she doesn't care. she's got a lot of money at her disposal if necessary and if there's a way for her to convince these folks they'd be better off in charge of their own lives, she's going to take it.
This is dangerous work, but I can see why she feels called to it. Everything those people need and depend on will be yanked away when the corp pulls out, and they always eventually do. Someone needs to be looking at the bigger picture.
she's aware of the bigger picture, to be fair, but she also thinks it's better for the settlements to rise or fall under the settlers' own power, rather than have them give up control over their lives to the corp. (and to be even more fair, i have no idea what happens, if the rebellion succeeds or not.)
