XD I loved that entire chase and throw scene. Imagining it play out in my head was so easy because you set it up so well! Poor Oscar! Just wanted some lovin'!
Grandpa always said they were the devil’s birds. I do not in any way disagree with that. :O
Deafness is probably a good thing for Oscar, considering that Marya plays the drums. Maybe dogs don't mind that kind of commotion anyway? I'd imagine it stirs them up, and it really wears on human beings.
Throwing that goose was probably satisfying, if nothing else. ;) Though she had a right to chase that kid for stealing her eggs. ;)
deaf dogs can probably feel the vibrations of someone whaling away on a drum kit, but i can't imagine it would be that annoying. definitely less of a problem than for hearing dogs trying to deal with the noise. (apparently dalmatians' occasional deafness is one reason they made good firehouse mascots, back in the day when fire engines were horse-drawn and had those big warning bells on them.)
the goose did kind of have the right to chase, but at the same time, no one wants to be caught by an angry goose. i mean, they bite. so everyone was in the right - the goose for chasing, the guy for running, and the kid for throwing.
