I couldn't get all the way through the pilot and I have been waiting MONTHS! Cara simply is not working for me. I was willing to accept the racism, blahblah, but she's so....blank? I don't know. Her face. He's gorgeous, of course! And the set! Not sure if I will try again. Felt the same way about the Good Omens pilot but that did moderately improve.

she's not a great actress but i didn't think she was too bad, but i totally get what you're saying. but the show looks so good! i'd say push through at least the first episode, but cara's the same in the second so i don't know if the pretty is enough for you to want to keep watching.

and as an aside, i saw jared harris and thought of you. :D

They are pushing Carnival thingy a lot but I haven't been terribly tempted yet. Maybe I'll get to it...but I still haven't got my Netflix subscription worked out to watch Lucifer and something else they are getting (which I've forgotten because I suck).

Whereas re-watching SPN is a joy. I'm still on the early seasons though - mid Season 3 at the moment. Got to say, I still enjoy the heck out of Bela.

i kinda like carnival row and i want to keep watching, but i don't feel compelled to mainline it like i did good omens. orlando and cara don't have the same chemistry as david tennant and michael sheen, altho to be fair not a lot of couples do. it looks great, tho.

i was never a huge bela fan and i remember s3 was kind of a mess (it was the writers' strike year and it just fucked everything up), but there were some good episodes and the boys are always fun to watch. they were so young! i couldn't get over what babies they were, compared to them now.
