Oh that's awesome that there's a) Jewish characters who are more than just the Jewish Character and that b) they aren't Ashkenazi

i gotta say, it's really nice to have a character mention in passing that he's a heb, and oh by the way his people are from lebanon, but those are just parts of who he is, and not all that he is. it's so nice when the jewish character isn't so clearly "other" and exotic and weird!

*marks calendar* :D i have now seen exactly one trailer with the season premiere date. i am excite! except i hope they rerun the previous season first, because i need a refresher.

I'd never even heard of Claws, it's sounds nuts!

We had four different trips to Rome before we managed to finally get to see that model - it's fecking awesome. Every time we went the damn museum was closed for restoration - it's quite a trek to get to as well, because it's in Mussolini's EUR complex which is a way out of the city centre. Well worth it though!

i've only been to rome once and had no idea there was a scale model of the ancient city in any of the museums. i'm jealous you got to see it!

I just looked at that article about the janitor and the personal items - that's kind of chilling, really. Reminded me of those awful holocaust photos of glasses and false teeth. I know it's not anywhere near that level of trauma for the victims but still, it feels a very short step away...

i'm not sure where i saw the link, but i'm pretty sure there was a reference to those exact holocaust pics. it's not quite the same, but i don't think it's far off.

Those chocolate bars are great, and the bunny assortment! So cute!

the bunnies are adorable! it's a very cute and clever ad. plus which, chocolate bunnies are always good. pride month is about over but i still want to get a set of the peace bars, because a. hazelnut! and b. it just seems like a really cool company.

I wanna start watching Claws! I had never heard of it until a couple weeks ago, when I happened on Carrie Preston's instagram. I love her and I'm so behind on what she's been doing. <3

oh, she's great. everyone's great, actually, but polly is especially fun. i think it's only three episodes into s2, so you don't have a huge number of episodes to catch up on.
