I'm still in two minds about going to see Solo, though your comments now make me think maybe I should. Or maybe I'll just wait for it to come on telly. I'd recommend Fantastic Beasts 1 - it's got cool beasties, fun as well as adventure and all the human characters are really well drawn and appealing.
I too saw that Robin Hood trailer - it looks absolutely DREADFUL.

it's really not a bad movie. do you have second-run or discount theaters near you? i'd recommend it on a big screen, just because there are some scenes worth seeing on a theater screen, rather than a tv screen.

that robin hood looked dreadful. at first i thought it was another assassin's creed, because it seemed to have the same kind of fantasy-history mishmash. i like taron egerton and i'm kind of an easy sell when it comes to robin hood movies, but... no.

The first Fantastic Beasts was a lil bat shit- but I also saw it right after leaving rehab and for Colin Farrell's character but I suggest it anyways and I am soooo looking forward to Jude as Dumbledore!

i kinda like colin farrell (even if half the time he looks like he needs to be disinfected) and i remember from the previews that fantastic beasts 1 looked like it would be a really interesting-looking movie, if nothing else. i;m getting the feeling i should watch it. :D
