my sister and i saw infinity war today. we (well, she) got the tickets like two weeks ago for a theater neither of us has ever been to on account of it's in roxbury, south of both of us, and i'm impressed we got seats at all. they were good seats, too.

I think re: Hawkeye that he was left out because he's going to feature (with Antman) in the next one - that's the theory I've been reading anyhow, from people better informed and more knowledgeable about the comic versions than I am. I don't think we can infer much from the future individual movies though, as from what I've seen they are going to be set in the past or parallel to this one.

My personal theory about the dissolved people is that Thanos is going to realise how sad and lonely his life is without Gamora and that his utopia of half dead universe isn't all it was cracked up to be - therefore he has the time stone and all the power and will try and reset things. During which process Dr Strange's one thread where they won will come about and most heroes will be resurrected apart from the onese whose contracts are up. LOL

everything was intense! the russos have said that clint has a part to play - i don't want to say pivotal, because i can't remember exactly what word they used - people were asking them and i guess they were trying to reassure fans that clint wasn't going to show up in infinity war only to die in the first ten minutes. i'm still annoyed.

heh! i wondered how they picked who disintegrated and who didn't, aside from the fact that all of the original avengers are still around, because everyone's coming back in the next movie. (and then some of them are probably going to die, but i bet they all come back first.) but, like, why is rocket the only remaining guardian right now? thanos might miss gamora but i don't think he's going to decide that wiping out half the universe was a bad idea. i figure somehow the avengers get the gauntlet back from him and either destroy it or use it to reset everything. or both.
