Egg yokes you can use in most baked goods, although often things need whole eggs too (the America's test kitchen chocolate chip cookie recipe calls for 1 egg + 1 yolk, I've seen lemon bar recipes that call for eggs plus yolks as well),or there's things like french toast or other things involving dipping or brushing yolks on things. Or can make a conditioner for your hair. Lots of possibilities.

i put the yolks in the freezer so whatever i make with them, i have to thaw them first. usually i use a whole egg for egg washes and french toast, tho. i didn't know i could make conditioner with egg yolks, tho. neat!

One of these days I will try challah. First I guess i need to find it. (Or find a recipe. And learn to cook.)

challah might be easier to buy than bake, altho i guess that depends on whether or not any stores near you carry it. it might be easier to find now than a couple weeks from now, on account of the high holy days when jews tend to eat more of it.

If burgundy crushed velvet had a smell, it would be a lot like clove cigarettes.
