Wow, snow! It was 60s here. MN is well into spring. It's weird that the East Coast isn't.

I'm not sure on the pricing of it, if it's extra or not, but quite often the body shop will fade the newer paint color into the older one. It's not perfect, and it's worse the more fading there is, but that's the trick. We had to take our car in, and they said that white is the worst. Who knew.

the thing is, i don't want to pay for it, and i doubt my insurance is going to pay for it, and the body shop was going to do that, they should've done it already. i can't keep going to work late because the body shop didn't match the new bumper to the car.

i wouldn't have guessed white would be the worst either. i mean, it's white, how many shades does it come in? weird!

No, absolutely, they're the ones who screwed up. I'm sorry they didn't do everything they were supposed to. I just knew that's how it works because we just went through that.

That's not cool about the color difference :/ They must've screwed it up. I imagine there's a bajillion car colors and shades. I have no words of wisdom, other than it sucks but you'll probably get used to it, because in the end, it's still your lovely little car. Now no one is allowed to touch it anymore, dammit!

i have no idea what they did but i'm not looking forward to calling the body shop and saying "so why is the bumper a noticeably different shade of green than the rest of the car?" i talked to my parents today and my dad said i should just suck it up and get used to it. >.<

"forty something"! i love that one. it's so stark - if you ever leave me and marry a younger woman and make a family with her, i'll stab you in the heart - but it's great. i can't do a poem a day for the whole month because i'm going to florida for passover, but every day i'm home i'll post one.

I kinda miss the days when bumpers were boldly a different color from the car, whether chrome or black. Maybe you can start a new trend.

but it's not even that different! it's the same general color, just a different shade. maybe i should go back and have them change it for a blue bumper or something.... i mean, if it's going to be a different color, it should REALLY be a different color.
