(to be fair, i've been low-level worried i'm going to get fired for a couple weeks already.) also i have an ugly-ass bruise inside my elbow and it itches. i am not ( Read more... )

IT WAS SO CUTE. imagine little felt pigs, one wearing overalls and carrying a rake, and the other wearing a little dress. their clothes were made out of felt too. (the rake was made of wire, natch.) and there's a gray felt barn.

It's a truth universally excepted that a piglet (and a puppy! always the puppies) is in need of a humanoid outfit. Though a difficult to comprehend truth because why? But ah, so true.

this is so true. something about pigs just cries out for human clothes. they were so cute in person outfits, too.

Why would they fire you??? This will not happen.

I honestly don't know how you New Englanders aren't constantly running into one another with WEATHER.

i should take a picture! he came with a little card that said his name is ellis and he likes the sea. it's super cute, and i'm not just saying that because i collected mice all through my childhood.

they could fire me! they could decide they want to cut corners and people are tired of explaining shit to me for the nth time! who knows! but it puts me on edge a little bit and i am not a fan.

there was no weather! the streets were dry, it wasn't raining or snowing or fogging, nothing. bah. bostonians sometimes forget how to drive after the first big snow of the season, but eventually they get their shit together.

Yikes, I can't believe you got hit again. Poor car and poor you!! And ugh, Comcast, if only cable/internet was more of a free market and not a monopoly. *sigh*

i know! what the hell, universe? at least this time the damage isn't as extensive and i'm not mortified to be driving around with it. but still! and seriously, if comcast didn't have such a stranglehold on cable/internet i'd have totally switched services by now. practically every time i call with a problem the csr tries to sell me on adding phone service to my cable/internet, and i always have to tell them "i'm calling you with a problem. understand that i don't want to switch my phone service to comcast and then have that not work either".

How do you not see a big lime green car? People are ridiculous. I hope you ger your baby back soon!

You're not gonna get fired over screwing up some tax thing. Then they would have to train someone else, and failing to train you on it was how they got here in the first place. Also, think of the Mansplainer.

my guess is that because his car was higher than mine, he couldn't see me out the rearview mirror, and once he backed up far enough he couldn't see me in his side mirrors either. but still! my car is GREEN SO PEOPLE CAN SEE IT. i still have to call the body shop, so it's currently parked in front of the house next door. :D at least this damage isn't as mortifying as the previous damage, so i'm not totally embarrassed to be driving around ( ... )
