That was a long bus ride. Muggy. I'll never forget the first time I stepped off a plane from Cali in New Jersey. How do you people DO THAT???

i have no idea how people survive the humidity, except that they have air conditioning. i grew up in tennessee where it was worse, because the summer lasted longer. ugh, weather.

I really liked Dominic's comment re:Howard- it's very insightful and thought out about the character changing and whatnot. Loved all the jokes about his hair too (in the bts and interviews by tptb behind Preacher there is a LOT of comments about Dominic's hair for some reason, mostly that it looked too good and they couldn't make it look bad.)
Good to hear that Stephen Amell is good in person too, he seems to be a good guy from the tweets/etc I've seen but it's to find out that true. His answer re:movie!Oliver was really good, it's got to be hard for the actors (him and Grant Gustin/the Flash) to be the character and take on that mantle but at the same time be told they're basically not good enough to be the character in the bigger picture of the film universe.

there are probably a lot of comments about dominic cooper's hair because it looks so good! it's quite attractive in real life. and among all the goofing off and teasing, he and hayley were very serious and thoughtful about some of the questions. there were good questions, too.
i know almost nothing about stephen amell, so everything he said was a really nice surprise. i did want to know what beautiful man he'd take to dinner if he couldn't take his beautiful wife, tho.
i still can't believe i said that to chris hemsworth. >.< i totally forgot i wasn't talking to myself in my own head.

But yeah, I agree with you 100% on autographs, photo ops, etc. I only did the ones I did because I specifically had a thing I wanted to get signed, and wintermute wanted to split the Chris/Sebstan photo op with someone and I figured 'why not?' (it turned out really well, at least!). I love the panels and the cosplay-watching, and the artist alley/vendors browsing, and this is a good, smaller con for all of those, so. If there are some fun guests next year that you want to see (or if you just want to see the con itself), you're welcome to come stay with me again! :D

your photo op did indeed turn out well! you and wintermute both looked good. i know everyone does cons differently - i've done it one way, now i can do it a different way. maybe with less public embarrassment next time.

the horse story involved norman reedus not having the first clue how to ride a horse - they had to lift him onto the horse's back with a little crane or some such thing, and as soon as the horse started to move he panicked. "it's moving! it's moving! what do i do?" and spf, who grew up in texas and knows what to do on a horse, just cracked up. and they had to get norman off the horse with the little crane. there's more to the story but that's the general gist, but spf is a much better storyteller than i am and the entire room was dying with laughter.
