That cake sounds good! I have to say, it's always confused me a bit why we can use matzoh flour (which is flour and water, mixed and baked and then crushed/crumbled back to a matzoh like consistency) but not actual flour, but then again, there's a lot of specific passover rules I never understood.

Wow, I can't imagine hosting 19 people at my seder, but then again, my place is on the smaller side.

Ugh titles and summaries. Good luck!!!

it was a gooood cake. i think the flour has to be made from unsprouted wheat which is what makes it ok for passover.

NINETEEN PEOPLE. my cousin has four kids and his sister-in-law has three, so that's already eleven people. next passover my parents will probably be in florida and i have no idea what we're going to do then, but there will probably be fewer people.

i think writing the summary will be ok, but unless i have a title when i start writing, they're always a pain to think up. bleh!

Good luck! You can do it.

I was hoping for a cake photograph, just saying. And who is this Elijah you forgot to open the door for? Did he have to climb through a window because of your forgetfulness? :D

Don't drink and drive, Elijah! Sip and swerve.

Happy late Passover! Which is incredibly late this year, but so it goes.

Nineteen people in a house is a lot! My parents used to manage some upper limit of 15 or so in their previous (of many) houses only by putting the dining room table at a diagonal. Ultimately, it's usually the limits of the room, since you can add on more tables. ;)

they had to run the table into the living room. their next-door neighbor went to a seder on saturday that was thirty people. O.O whose house is that big??
