i'm totally falling behind on the month of babble meme. >.< the babble for december 17 was favorite bands of my youth, for halfshellvenus, and possibly i should have asked her to define "youth"....

"Youth" was pretty much however you wanted to define it. The music you identified with, the era you think of as yours.

And I'm so glad the 70s was more my era than the 80s. :O :D

70s music definitely has stuff to recommend it. i mean, donna summer. :D and i always liked the beegees. my cousin had a 50th birthday party on saturday, and she didn't have nearly enough good 70s music that we could dance to.

I meant Beates, Led Zeppelin, Boston, The Who, and so on. Rock and hard rock.

But I do understand that there are those who actually like disco. Clearly!

oh. heh. boston is good too. i always think of led zeppelin as before my time, altho if donna summer isn't, they aren't either. i actually heard them on the radio tonight.

possibly i imprinted hard on saturday night fever....
