How cool of that farmer to recognize the historical value of the trench and keep it. I would've filled it SO FAST as soon as I was allowed to. But the farmer had insight! Unlike some people who throw away gross Vietnam surgery photos! :D

CONGRATS on NaNo! Will you be sharing? That is one hell of a lot of words! Linear story or not. Were you just typing stream-of-consciousness? Or scenes?

Why did you bin the slides? There are slide scanners....jes' sayin'.

it's at smackenzie where i put all my nanonovels, but that's pretty much the extent of the sharing. i tried to write it as actual scenes that tried to flow, but, well, i did approximately zero pre-planning and it never had a plot, so there's also a certain amount of stream-of-consciousness and bullshitting.

my parents are moving next summer and trying to get rid of stuff, and they have a metric ton of slides. they did keep a bunch to scan, but they don't want to have to scan all of them. (they have a scanner with a slide attachment, but my dad can't find the power cord. >.< )
