new york is a wonderful town and i wish it was closer

today, as promised, i drove to new york and saw dear-tiger but sadly not no-detective, and it took a bit over four and a half hours each way - not the four i remember and certainly not the three and a half googlemaps promised me - because of traffic because of construction. >.< well, and also because it's new york and there's always traffic somewhere. but fun was had
