I don't know how your whole city is managing as well as it is. Detroit and the suburbs would be totally paralyzed until the spring thaw. Love the break up letter and wishing you an early Spring.

some people would probably say we're not managing at all.... (anyone who's tried to take public transportation to get anywhere in the last month, say.) but at least the city hasn't totally shut down.

BWAHAHAHAHA - snow breakup letter. That's fabo! I'm feeling for you folks. I really am. I know it's crazy to say that we're grousing over our upper 60's weather here...but it ain't normal and no good can come of it. You people are sooooooooooooo buried though. I talk to my New England relatives and they sound simply exhausted. Hang in there!

dear snow,

it's you. really. it's you.

seriously! it really is exhausting. we're probably all psychologically scarred around here. and i like snow! but this is just ridiculous. they were saying on cnn earlier that we've gotten 95" so far. that's enough to bury a pro basketball player.

your grousing is totally understandable, tho. i mean, abnormal weather is still abnormal, whether it's "too much snow, what the hell" or "too hot, what the hell". if we could send you our bitter cold and seven feet of snow, we totally would.

K is very impressed with your snow. very impressed. (that isn't good, he's from NY/NJ living in Chicago for the last 18 years and he has SEEN SNOW).

it's kind of hard NOT to talk about something like this that has such an impact on your daily life!
