it took me two hours to get to work yesterday morning, and i was over an hour late. this was probably mostly my fault - i took the bus and not the t. and there was waaaaay too much traffic. so this morning i figured i'd take my chances with the train, and... was an hour late. i watched FOUR TRAINS go by, each one packed too full to allow any

There was only one locomotive in front and none in the back. Amazing.
Am impressed that there wasn't more fallout to block the road at the crossing but then the train isn't a snowplow (oh the joys of digging out the driveway to get to the road each time the plow comes through) and most of the snow seemed to be airborne.
No way that train could see though coming into that crossing.

Haven't seen Elementary so far this season. I'm a little scared of Sherlock and Joan's relationship strain giving me flashbacks to S4 of SPN. :/ Should I give it a try, though?

you should totally give it a try! the relationship isn't strained for long. they still clearly care about each other and are still interested in being in each other's lives. they just have some stuff to talk out. it's SO MUCH LESS ANGSTY than spn.

so, did we talk about the last Agent Carter and how awesome the scene was w/ those two little Russian girls fighting? because .... impressive!

we did not talk about agent carter! i loved that scene, altho it was kind of disturbing. girl offers friend half her bread, girl later breaks friend's neck. yikes. but the fight scene was indeed impressive, and the whole operation was pretty fascinating. i mean, snow white as subliminal brainwashing tool! teaching the girls english but coincidentally
also how to act like helpless, pretty damsels! i mean, no one looks at snow white and thinks she's going to be a threat. oddly enough it just made me want more natasha backstory.
