I used to have a writing prompt for my students concerning the weather. Something like, Write the story of something that happened to you during a major weather event. Two students in two classes wrote about getting snowed in at the hospital during the 2008 blizzard that pretty much put a stop to transportation in our area for a couple weeks. Weirder still, the first student was there giving birth, and the second student was there for her sister's birth. So strange!

I hope you have a happy 2015!

those two people who were snowed in weren't related, were they? how coincidental! but i need to do the other seasons too.

and a happy 2015 to you!

What about friendship romance rather than romance romance? - meeting someone when person A gets trapped in their car in a blizzard outside person B's house / work / stable / thing, and then continuing their relationship through the year?

OMG TARDIS BED. I wantses!

ooh, i like that! a friendship rather than an explicitly romantic romance! that could work.

isn't that the coolest bed? the tardis part works because it's a murphy bed, but i'd love something like that for permanent.
