Comments on fic are a rare commodity at all nowadays. "Kudos" culture has taken over. /I am old, hear me rant. Meh.

that's kind of how i felt too - intrigued and horrified. it's a really cool idea but i'm not sure i could eat one. i've seen anatomically correct chocolate hearts too, and those kind of gross me out with aortas and valves and veins and everything.

i haven't even put my bigbang on ao3 yet. i usually wait until the challenge is over and everyone has posted. i'm not a big fan of kudos and i like to have all my comments (WHEN I GET COMMENTS) in one place. so it's not even that, it's just that i can't tell if anyone has read it at all. which is VERY STRANGE for a bigbang, at least for me.

It's not only for big bangs, it's also for "normal" fanfics. Looks like people are a little tired of reviewing what they read.
That cat reminds me on my old one. He was actually climbing the curtains at my front door when I came home from work and also meowing all over the place all the time (and doing some other weird noises after I came in. I always thought he might tell me what he did while I was gone LOL).
The females dwarves are cute! And the skull ... *shivers* ... VERY realistic!

it's so weird! i know a lot of people read fic on ao3, which is totally fine, but i always wait to post my bigbangs there because i want my comments in one place as much as possible. (not that i tend to get comments on ao3, because people don't tend to comment as much over there, but still.) but usually at least someone has commented on my bang by now.

your cat missed you! i love it when cats do that - well, not when they climb the curtains, because ripped curtains are never a good thing - they have such a reputation for being aloof, it's always nice to see them really miss their people. did he tell ever tell you what he did while you were out? :D

i honestly think the skulls are a little TOO realistic. i don't think i could eat one, and i loooooooove chocolate. the dwarves are so adorable, tho. more people should draw cute lady dwarves.

Well, I'm more the "spread yourself as wide as possible all over the internet, you don't know how long you are allowed to stay" kind of person and as I've the tendency to get thrown out of bigbangs or leave them early I stick to "normal" fanfics ;). But it's sort of weird how the comments seem to extinct - okay, I'm not that huge commenting gal myself. So, on one hand I understand, on the other it would be nice if people would leave at least a "stop writing your BS" after 10 chapters. But that's me *shrugs
