because i didn't go to work yesterday, i woke up this morning and thought it was sunday. altho i was also woken up at 5:15 my carbon monoxide detector, which WOULD NOT SHUT UP. it has a reset button on it which you're supposed to press to get it to stop beeping, and i kept pressing it and it would stop for about ten seconds and then start up

Tommy Lee Jones is always enjoy- and loveable - at least for me (yeah, I've sometimes a weird taste, but that man CAN play like hell!).
Stupid detector! Sorry for you that you had to get so early - but good for you that you still found a little rest afterwards.

he's always such a joy to watch. and he plays cranky middle-aged dudes so well.

i used to think the beeping that woke me up was my smoke detector, so i, uh, took the battery out of it. (i have since replaced it!) and when the beeping woke me up AGAIN, i realized that wasn't it. sadly i can't take the battery out of the carbon monoxide detector because it will still beep. ugh.

for bigbangs i have to plan ahead because there's always RESEARCH. and i need to do at least some of the reading before i start writing. and i like to be prepared, if at all possible.
