yesterday was the open house at my curling club, and because it's a winter olympics year they had 600 people sign up. which is a lot. and i volunteered, because why not. i was on the ice as a shagger, which meant i got to stand halfway down the ice abd yell "sweep! sweep!" at potential curlers, reassure them that everyone falls, and then shove

I miss living in places where Passover is obvious in stores. Here in Co. they have the same stuff year round. Oh look, the JEW aisle. With matzoh ball soup, candles, and matzoh ALL THE TIME.

the presence and size of passover aisles totally depends on where you are. my local grocery might put out its passover stuff a week or two before the first seder. it's a tiny display and they don't have gefilte fishlets so i go somewhere else.

I hope it's not a terrible sacrilege to say that curling sounds cute :D Keep posting about it, seriously. There's nothing better than learning about some obscure thing out there because someone you know is passionate about it.

curling can be cute! i don't think that's sacrilege. i have about another month of it, so there will definitely be more posts, altho they might all be variations on "we lost again".
