Those tweets are hysterical! I loved the cat prints and whatnot on the manuscripts too, I follow eric kwakkel's tumblr and he posted it there along with some other ones, they're great.

someone at sainbury's has a sense of humor. i love it. and i'd seen the pawprints on the manuscript before, but not the rest of it. i follow his tumblr too, but i must've missed the cat pee.

...that sounds wrong.

It tastes good actually, but pretty much exactly the same as their other caramel flavored stuff.

well that seems kind of silly. if you're going to go to all the trouble of introducing a new flavor, it should taste new! but good to know that it tastes better than it sounds.

Cats are predictably feline over time ;)

i don't know if it's reassuring or not for cat owners to know that some things haven't changed in a thousand years.

The Sugar-Free Gummy Bear reviews are hilarious!

Have these people never tried Sugar-Free candy before? I think I'm limited to about 1 1/2 pieces _a day_ of things like Sugar-Free Russell Stovers or mini Hershey bars. I'm really careful. But with things that taste good enough NOT to be sugar-free, you do sometimes forget. o_O

Monks and kitties! I loved the paw prints on the manuscripts. What to do? Set the book upright on a high shelf and wait for the ink to dry until you can be right there to monitor it and the inkwell?

i'm guessing sugar-free gummy bears are like potato chips - you can't stop at one. and yeah, they probably taste so good you forget what you're eating until they fight back.

from what i understand of cats, putting your manuscript on a high shelf might not stop your cat from walking on it. or, er, peeing on it. ew.

I was thinking that putting the manuscript up high and storing it on end might help. I can't speak to the peeing on a manuscript, unless there was something about the smell of the parchment that might have triggered that. Most cats would be more likely to ploompf on it in breadloaf position, since the book is a nice, defined space. ;)
